I believe that having someone to talk to who is independent of your circle and has the skills and experience to hold space for you to share the deepest parts of yourself, is just as important as brushing your teeth.
The expression of our true selves through talking things out is SO important for a healthy mind, body, heart and spirit. And yet, I’m amazed at how few people have someone in their lives to hold space for them, to listen without judgement, to listen without jumping in with their own stories, or even to just listen without being distracted.
Even before the pandemic, people were feeling isolated, unseen, unheard and unexpressed, resulting in a range of unhealthy situations, an unfulfilled life, confusion and sometimes anxiety, depression and feeling lost.
Someone To Talk To (STTT) sessions allow you to simply share whatever is in your heart and on your mind - completely unfiltered and in a confidential, judgement-free and safe environment. You get to share whatever you would like to share - no topic is off limits! You don’t need a goal or a particular outcome. You can talk, vent, laugh, cry - whatever you feel is in your heart and on your mind.
Prefer to walk and talk? STTT sessions can be done in a walking format. We’ll find a quiet park or a spot by the beach where we can walk and you can share what is in your heart. Remember, better out than in.

What is a Someone To Talk To (STTT) session?
A Someone To Talk To session provides a confidential, judgement-free and safe environment for you to talk through whatever is on your mind and in your heart.
How does a Someone To Talk To session work?
Sessions are held between myself as a Holistic Life Coach, and you, either in person or online. These sessions are guided by what you would like to talk about. There is no formal structure and no topic is off limits. As a Holistic Life Coach, I might ask you a couple of reflective questions, but other than that, the ball is in your court in terms of what you would like to talk about.
Is a Someone To Talk To session the same as counselling?
It might feel like they are a bit the same - both life coaches and counsellors are trained in active listening. Counsellors are more about holding therapeutic space for deep trauma issues. Life coaches take a goal and outcome focused approach - taking you to where you want to go in life. Any issues that cannot be addressed in a Someone To Talk To session can be referred to a counsellor if needed.
What if I don’t know exactly what I want to talk about in the session?
That is completely ok. I’ll ask a few questions at the beginning of the session to get the conversation going.
How will I know if a Someone to Talk To session is working?
The main way to tell if a session is working is that you’ll feel better. There is so much value in being heard, seen and understood and these sessions are designed for exactly that. Some clients report feeling relief being able to say whatever is in their mind and in their heart, even for those who may cry in the session. Other clients sometimes feel a sense of excitement or inspiration as the sessions provide clarity to take the next step to move forward.
Are the sessions confidential?
Absolutely yes! I will always keep the information you share with me confidential. My sessions are also conducted in a safe and judgement-free environment.
How long does a Someone To Talk To session go for?
Sessions can be booked for either 60 minutes or 90 minutes.

Sessions are held online or face-to-face (Sydney). They can also be done in a walk and talk format where we find a quiet park or a spot by the beach and go for a walk where you can share whatever is in your mind and in your heart.
What is a walk and talk session?
Someone To Talk To sessions can be done in a walk and talk format where we find a quiet park or a spot by the beach and go for a walk where you can share whatever is on your mind and in your heart. Some people find this format more comfortable because we’re walking side by side. Moving the body also helps to shift emotions, energises the body and is time efficient if you need someone to talk to and get some steps in too.
